Bulky Items Pickup Schedules
For residential customers living in detached houses, mobile homes, many town homes, duplexes, triplexes and quadruplexes, bulky items are picked up every other week at curbside according to your red/blue week schedule. Download a 2009 Red/Blue week calendar (PDF). Don't know your schedule? Go to YOU Online to look up your schedule by address or account number.
Place your bulky items at the curb by 6:30 a.m. on your collection day. The maximum size for bulk piles is six feet long, four feet high and four feet deep.
Apartment customers- Ask your manager where to place old furniture and other bulky items, appliances, old bikes, etc. for disposal. These "trash" items, per Florida law, cannot be placed in garbage or recycling containers. The $8.30 fee does NOT include service for collection of trash items, so the complex's account will be billed for this special pick-up service.
Commercial Customers: Yard Waste, Bulky Items and Construction Debris are not included in normal commercial services but can be picked up for an additional fee by downloading and faxing the request form (PDF) to 891-5550.
Commercial customers can bring CLEAN (no plastic bagged yard waste) yard waste to the Solid Waste Management Facility at 7550 Apalachee Parkway. Businesses or residents with other "Class III" waste (i.e. bulky items such as furniture, mattresses, construction and demolition debris) must take these loads to Marpan Recycling located at 6020 Woodville Hwy or call them at 216-1006 for hours of operation.
