- Former member of the Young Lawyers Board of the Florida Bar, former Chairman of the Tallahassee Area Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Apalachee Land Conservancy, past board member of Goodwill Industries Big Bend, Inc. and the Leon County Library Advisory Board
- Founding member of the Economic and Environmental Consensus Committee, which produced the "Blueprint 2000 and Beyond..." report.
